Yes, I know I should have been one of the first. After all, I've read your blogs. And insisted you post for your homework. I suppose I just love reading YOUR stuff rather than writing my own.
It's slightly odd teaching Media Studies when my own family are busy creating stuff all around me. Oli (22) is moaning about the long hours at Sky Sports, where he's working on Rugby League sequences for transmission. Tony, my husband, is writing the script for the BBC series on Railways - and complaining that he doesn't have enough time to fit everything in that he wants to say. And Hermione, my daughter, is watching 'behind the scenes' dvds of Harry Potter - Order of the Phoenix- and wondering how she can copy the camera angles on her camcorder. Me - I'm trying to keep warm (I'm miles from the bloomin' Aga) while trying to keep in touch with you and what you're watching. How do you have time to fit in everything that you do? You amaze me!
Tomorrow we're watching Yasmin - and looking at cultural representation. Let's see if you've truly understood mise-en-scene!
